Let’s talk about tantric men
We get a lot of questions about the effect of tantra on men (from both them, and their partners), so we think it’s time to answer them as fully as we can (and maybe spare a few of you some future sass at a workshop 😝). First up:
How long does it take for a man to become tantric?
That’s what everyone starts wondering when they start the practice, right? How long until I feel the benefits?
But that’s also why this question is a bit tricky. While most women can become tantric in as little as a couple of weeks, the truth is it can take several years for most men to master this practice. Sounds a bit long, doesn’t it?
But don’t worry, it’s not all doom and gloom. Mastery may take some time, but the positive effects, often including increased energy, motivation, and sex drive can often be felt in as little as a few weeks. In a matter of months, many report lasting waaaaay longer in bed, and fixing their erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation issues.
Of course, it’s very difficult to predict how long it will take for any specific person to feel the benefits, or even if this practice is truly for them. The only way to know is to try, and see how it feels for you.
And don’t worry too much if you’re having the occasional ejaculation by mistake (aka a *miss*) despite your efforts. Yes, you’re more likely to feel the full benefits if you stick to the non-ejaculation practice, but ultimately any length of time without having a miss is better than none, especially if you hope to experience a tantric orgasm.
And that brings us to our next question;
What does a tantric orgasm feel like (for men)?
This one can get a bit tricky if you’ve never experienced it, as it can vary in intensity. Once the spasm orgasm is out of the equation, you’ll be able to feel orgasmic sensations in other parts of your body.
In short, a tantric orgasm is any orgasm that comes from a relaxed, open body, and leaves you feeling hornier and more energetic afterwards, rather than depleted and drained.
It can last a much longer time than a spasm orgasm, often several minutes rather than a few seconds. Sometimes it’s only a fraction of the intensity of a spasm orgasm, and other times it’s much MORE intense.
That said, if you play with the expectation of a tantric orgasm and focus on yourself, it’s highly unlikely to happen. If you want to experience it, the best thing you can do is show up intending to serve rather than get, do the practice, and just see what happens.
And that brings us to our final question;
Can you have tantric sex and experience tantric orgasms without giving up ejaculation entirely?
No. See you next time!
Okay, okay, we’ll elaborate a bit. 😉
When you ejaculate, your energy gets depleted and you lose your horniness. There’s just no way to hang on to the relaxation, openness, and energy required to have a tantric orgasm if you’re still ejaculating.
Or, to quote Constantine, one of our most experienced certified gigolos;
“Going into this practice wondering how often you get to ejaculate is the wrong attitude. The right attitude is to really give it your best shot for a certain amount of time (say half a year to a year), and see how you feel.
If this experiment shows you it’s not for you, feel free to go back to regular cumming, but if you really want to have the full experience, commit to trying non-ejaculation with real dedication for a few months and see if it works for you.”
And there you have it.
Don’t think of this practice as “losing the spasm orgasm”, think of it as gaining tantric orgasms, energy, and the ability to have orgasms without feeling drained, among the many other benefits our practitioners report (not to mention much happier sexual partners).
In conclusion…
Phew, this was a long one! Did you make it all the way to the end without skimming? (We’ll only judge you a little bit 😆)
If these questions were on your mind, hopefully you now understand a bit more about them. And if you were on the fence about giving this practice a try, we hope we’ve inspired you to at least give it a shot, maybe via some form of challenge that lasts three weeks, a 21 Day Challenge if you will…
Until next time!
Onwards and upwards,
The TNT Team
