Vaginal De-armouring: a transformative tool for women

In this post, tantric bodyworker Hotlips gives a presentation of vaginal de-armouring for women.

What is vaginal de-armouring?

One of the most transformative tools I believe every woman should utilize for greater sexual well-being is a ‘method’ called: vaginal de-armouring.

De-armouring is a process in which (sexual) blockages can be released from the vagina, transform pain and/or get rid of numbness. Making her able to re-connect to the natural sexual potential, regain sexual sensitivity and open the way to experiencing other types of deeper, pleasurable orgasms (the ones beyond the short spasm orgasm that is).

Similar to a deep tissue massage, de-armouring is a process of applying and holding pressure to spots/places of contraction and tightness inside the vagina for the purpose of releasing physical, spiritual and emotional blockages.

Expressing emotions throughout the procedure is an essential component. Allow them to come up and express it in whichever way is needed. Many of us never really express the unwanted emotions properly. Therefore, this is an ultimate opportunity to connect, allow and release those. While at the same time not getting trapped in overthinking, trying to make sense of things and wanting to stay in control. Instead this method allows you to get out of your head, surrender as much as you can to bodily impulses. Ultimately the body knows what and how tension needs to be released. All in all, it’s quite a unique experience to go through pain and transform it into pleasure.

There’s nothing ‘wrong’ with my pussy…

In 2010 I booked a vaginal de-armouring session with a TNT-certified bodyworker and, to my surprise, found out that my pussy was numb in many areas. I had just never taken the time to really connect to that area, so simply didn’t realize a lot of my suppressed (mainly negative) emotions could be ‘hidden’ there and were possibly limiting my sexual pleasure.

Until then my sexual sensations were mainly focused around touching the clitoris. I had never experienced a G-spot orgasm and had never even heard of a womb orgasm.

After the 2-hour de-armouring session, I felt much more grounded. My pussy felt much more sensitive, in a good way, and transformed into a relaxed and soft ‘sponge’. It opened the doorway to discovering different forms of sexual pleasure and orgasms, beyond my imagination.

For every woman?

In my opinion, every woman could benefit from the de-armouring practice, as unpleasant and/or unwanted experiences throughout our life may create tension in our body, including the genital area. Creating physical painful sensations or numbness, which could impact the way we experience sexual pleasure. De-armouring will help the genital area to naturally relax and restore blood flow again. Allowing sexual pleasure to run through the genital tissue again.

However, before experimenting in this fragile and vulnerable area, please note these 2 important exceptions:

  • You should NOT perform or experiment with vaginal de-armouring by yourself at home if the woman is PREGNANT. In that case, we recommend that you seek professional help from certified midwives with de-armouring skills.
  • The same goes for women with medical or psychological issues. Vaginal de-armouring is NOT meant as a replacement for healing or therapy. If you or your woman have a serious condition,  please consult with licensed medical professionals or therapists instead.

Where to get a de-armouring?

De-armouring is a practice that can be done either by yourself, a trained bodyworker, or by a trusted partner.

To do it at home, you can find a detailed step-by-step guide in Chapter 9 of the book 50 Misconceptions of Sex written by TNT founder Alexa Vartman.

We also sell a video tutorial with real demonstration footage in the online course Pussy Skills. Diesel instructs how to perform it and I demonstrate the procedure on my colleague Mermaid.

If you have the opportunity, I definitely recommend having it done at least once by a trained bodyworker. Find one in your area in the Private Sessions section.

Finally, another great way is to do it in a setting guided by tantric professionals such as on TNT’s Level 2 Advanced Sex workshop.

For more info check out the youtube video below. TNT workshop facilitators Cheshire Cat and Paris explain the process in more visual detail.

Ciao for now,
